It is hard to believe I have been here for over 2 weeks.

I have settled in very well, and there is a comfortable flow to my days here. There are 2 other Helpers here
1 from Portland Maine and 1 from Austraila.
Our days start when we decide to get up, I have been getting up around 7. We make our own breakfast in the kitchen, Patrick usually has a fire, going by the time we get up. After breakfast I head over to the Kitchen about 8. Sarah is amazing at what she does and is more than happy share her knowledge in the Kitchen. Every day in the Kitchen is different, some days we will do Quiche and Chutney, others we will do Scones and brown bread.

After my time in the Kitchen, the rest of the day constantly changes, some days I gone for walks, or we hear into Durrow. Often I will head up to Abbeyleix to help close up the shop.

We do end up at Bobs Bar quite a bit, it can be a quick stop as we head home. On Wednesday nights there is Irish Dancing, Friday and Saturday nights they might have live music. Lots of locals and the Pub really is the community center, in these little towns

This is the kitchen I spend alot of my mornings.
At night a wonderful meal is prepared for us, we all eat together, fire burning in the stove, good food and conversation
